Many people ask why students have to take the Learning Strategies course. Well, it's because high school is different than elementary school. You are expected to be independent, there is more work, your social lives become busy, you might decide to get a job, you are mixed up with students from other communities, you have to write exams... High school can be busy, stressful, fun, rewarding and scary. So how do you balance everything?

The Learning Strategies course is designed to prepare students for high school. We cover things like organization, conflict resolution, improving writing, dealing with stress and things that will help you become a better you. The class provides you with information to make all of the stuff that you have to deal with in high school more manageable... so sit back and prepare to learn!
